DockOptima

Weighbridge and gate management

Weighbridge and gate management without paper tickets

Record gross and tare weights against the booked visit at the gatehouse. DockOptima works out net payload automatically and keeps a timestamped record of arrival, tipping and departure, so tonnage and waiting-time disputes can be settled from one audit trail.

How it works

Each visit starts with a booking, so the gatehouse already knows which haulier, load type and bay to expect.

  • Weigh in: enter the weighbridge ticket number and gross weight at check-in
  • Tip or unload at the assigned bay or tipping point
  • Weigh out: enter the tare weight; net payload is calculated straight away
  • Tare heavier than gross is flagged and cannot be saved
  • Weighbridge fields stay internal to site staff and are not shown to carriers

Built for industrial and recycling sites

Paper mills, recycling yards, packaging plants and bulk-material sites often handle hook-loader skips, walking floors and curtain-siders through the same gate. Load-type durations and bay rules stop several lorries arriving at once, reducing congestion and waiting near yard machinery.

Evidence for detention and tonnage queries

Gate-in, gate-out and every status change are stored in UTC and shown in site time. Dwell time per haulier and load type is available in reports, alongside the recorded weights.
